Payroll administration is usually performed either by HR, payroll or accounts personnel. As organisations grow and industries become more competitive, people from other functional areas – fresh graduates as well as those in career transitions – should venture out and upgrade themselves to be proficient in this particular field of work.
SHRI Academy’s Certificate in Payroll Administration (CPA) programme is specially designed to cover the various methodologies, techniques, payroll administration systems, legal issues, statutory laws and latest trends. It will provide participants with a good understanding of the statutory laws and legal issues relating to or affecting employment and payroll, as well as to cover the various payroll calculations, payroll administration systems, and latest trends. This course will also include a short demo-session on the user-friendly architecture of a Payroll Software – so that participants can view and appreciate the functions of this software.
It is important that the employees performing payroll administration is able to process the company’s payroll accurately and timely, plus they must also able to manage questions from peers and management on employment related benefits and legislation requirements.

Course Duration
2 months; 40 training hours; 14 sessions
Lessons are conducted two to three times a week from 7pm to 10pm
Assessment Methods
Candidates are assessed by a group / individual assignment and a formal written examination.
IHRP CPD Hours
On completion of the CPA programme, learners will earn 40 HR-related Training Hours/ CPD Hours (excluding Examination) that can be applied towards Application for or Renewal of IHRP certification.
