The Diploma in Organisational Psychology (DOP) is designed to provide a solid foundation in psychology. The programme will benefit Executives, Managers and Professionals with a keen interest in getting a deeper understanding of the dynamics between people in the workplace.

SHRI Academy’s Diploma in Organisational Psychology (DOP) programme is designed to provide a solid foundation in the field of psychology and focuses on the psychological aspects of organisational functioning. Students will be expected to critically engage in psychological theories and their applications. The programme provides a rigorous review of major theories in organisational psychology and their applications at the workplace that a HR professional encounters. The programme will benefit Executives, Managers and Professionals with a keen interest in getting a deeper understanding of the dynamics between people at the workplace. The programme also provides a good foundation for any individual who wishes to pursue a higher level of qualification in Psychology such as a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree as it provides a broad perspectives into the topics that would be covered in-depth at such levels. IHRP CPD Hours

On completion of the DipOrgPsy programme, learners will earn 264 HR-related Training Hours/ CPD Hours (excluding Examination) that can be applied towards Application for or Renewal of IHRP certification.

Graduation and Degree

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structures will be awarded the Diploma in Organisational Psychology from SHRI Academy Pte Ltd. Graduates may use the title “DipOrgPsy” after their names.

Advancement

DipOrgPsy graduates are granted direct entry into Year 3 of the Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management with Organisational Psychology (Top Up) programme, offered by Edinburgh Napier Universtiy, UK through SHRI Academy.

Length

  • The Diploma in Organisation Psychology is a 16 months programmes which covers 264 training hours (8 Modules).

Fundings available

No. of intakes

  • You may choose to join any of the 3 intakes available per year for this programme.

Any Exemptions

  • Exemption is only applicable to active students who are deferring for future modules and have already passed the module before deferment so they don’t have to retake the same module. Exemptions are not applicable to new applicants.

Minimum Entry Requirement

  • You have to be at least 16 years old with a minimum of 5 GCE “O” Level passes OR SHRI Academy’s Certificate in Human Resource Management OR SHRI Academy’s any Diploma courses OR Equivalent Polytechnic Diploma OR Equivalent Diploma qualifications from other Private Education Institution.
  • For matured candidates, you must be >30 years old with 5 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
