The Diploma in Organisational Psychology (DOP) is designed to provide a solid foundation in psychology. The programme will benefit Executives, Managers and Professionals with a keen interest in getting a deeper understanding of the dynamics between people in the workplace.  

 

SHRI Academy’s Diploma in Organisational Psychology programme is designed to provide a solid foundation in the field of psychology and focuses on the psychological aspects of organisational functioning. Students will be expected to critically engage in psychological theories and their applications. The programme provides a rigorous review of major theories in organisational psychology and their applications at the workplace that an HR professional encounters. The programme will benefit Executives, Managers and Professionals with a keen interest in getting a deeper understanding of the dynamics between people in the workplace. The programme also provides a good foundation for any individual who wishes to pursue a higher level of qualification in Psychology such as a bachelor's or a master's degree as it provides a broad perspective into the topics that would be covered in-depth at such levels. This programme will benefit those working in management/supervisory positions as well as professionals whose job requires them to interact with others on a frequent basis.

Minimum Academic Qualifications

5 GCE 'O' Level passes

SHRI Academy Certificate in Human Resource Management

SHRI Academy's Diploma Courses

Equivalent Polytechnic Diploma

OR

Equivalent Diploma qualifications from other Private Education Institution

OR

Mature candidate (≥30 years old) with 5 years' relevant work experience

Candidate with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Certificate Awarded

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structures will be awarded the Diploma in Organisational Psychology from SHRI Academy.


Progression

Diploma in Organisational Psychology (DOP) graduates are granted direct entry into Year 3 of the Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management with Organisational Psychology (Top-Up) programme, offered by Edinburgh Napier University, UK through SHRI Academy.


IHRP CPD Hours

Upon completion of the Diploma in Organisational Psychology programme, learners will earn 264 HR-related Training Hours/CPD Hours (excluding examination) that can be applied towards Application for or Renewal of IHRP certification.
