Outline
To provide an updated overview of the emerging trends in technology-driven human resource management, commonly known as e-HRM, to meet the evolving needs of modern Human Resource service delivery. As technology becomes more prevalent and cost-effective, many HR services and delivery methods increasingly rely on HR technologies and related practices. However, many HR professionals, especially in SMEs, have yet to fully embrace these technologies and practices. This course aims to equip HR professionals with foundational HR technology skills, enabling them to capitalize on trends that are set to revolutionize the Digital HR landscape, thereby maximizing human potential and gaining a competitive business advantage. This is also crucial in the journey toward becoming a smart nation, with the integration of technology-driven management tools.
Objectives
The 2-Day short course explores and evaluates the various Emerging Technologies that affect the effectiveness and efficiencies of human resource service delivery.
The course aims to deliver effective HR services in a cost-efficient manner through an optimal and customer-centric service delivery operating model.
The learners shall acquire knowledge to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of service quality or costs, implement HR Transformation programmes to enhance productivity and cost efficiency, adopt a service-oriented mindset and people-centricity in dealing with internal and business stakeholders.

Course Delivery
Course Delivery is made up of a combination of active learning, sharing, discussions, participation and hands-on case exercises and short presentations of discussion outcome.
The approach will be to study the contents and the process of Emerging Technologies for Excellent Human Resource Service Delivery & Operational Excellence. Participants are encouraged to adopt a higher level of learning to understand and apply what is learnt to tackle real life organisational scenarios.
Interactive learning in the form of searching for information on the internet may be needed from time to time. Hence, a laptop or tablet computer with internet access would be useful during the class time.

Assessment Methods
The 2-Day Short Course focus on the Focal Topics as stipulated in the course.
There will be an Open Book Assessment conducted within the 2-Day Short Course.
This is to help trainees understand the absorption of Learning Outcome, a short assessment is given within the 2-Day Short Course (16-hours).
The purpose of the short assessment is to help the trainees to know their SWOT and does not guarantee the success/failure in the actual IHRP Certification Assessment.
Trainees must achieve at least 75% attendance and must have passed the competency assessments to attain the Statement of Attainment.

Yeo Keng Kiat
Keng Kiat has over 30 years of extensive experience working in global multinational corporations in the IT, manufacturing and financial industries. He held leadership roles in People Operations, Learning & Development and Organisational Development for over a decade, driving strategic and operational programs in employee & industrial relations, talent management & succession planning, employee engagement, professional development, and corporate HR services.
Prior to his career in HR, Keng Kiat specialised IT process design and deployment, helping MNCs transform their IT processes to best practices and trained IT Service Management practitioners to operationalise policies and processes. He also has expertise in Data Centre automation, application change management and mainframe systems support.
Keng Kiat is an ACTA-certified Adult Educator and holds a Specialist Diploma in Advanced Facilitation. As an IBM Recognized Teacher / Educator, he facilitated inhouse corporate training in topics such as leadership, diversity & inclusion, professional integrity and business communications. He is also a Design Thinking practitioner and has facilitated strategic planning interventions to support organizational transformation and operational excellence.
