The Certificate in Payroll Administration (CPA) is designed to cover the various methodologies, techniques, payroll administration systems, legal issues, statutory laws, and latest trends. This course will also include a short demo session on the user-friendly architecture of payroll software so that participants can appreciate the functions of this software. Finance and HR professionals should understand and implement payroll administration to meet legal and organisational needs. It also trains payroll staff to manage their employees’ salaries and benefits, including their employers’.

It will provide participants with a good understanding of the statutory laws and legal issues relating to or affecting employment and payroll, as well as to cover the various payroll calculations, payroll administration systems, and latest trends. It is important that the employees performing payroll administration is able to process the company’s payroll accurately and timely, plus they must also able to manage questions from peers and management on employment related benefits and legislation requirements.

On completion of the CPA programme, learners will earn 40 HR-related Training Hours/ CPD Hours (excluding Examination) that can be applied towards Application for or Renewal of IHRP certification.
