HR support staff who wish to gain a comprehensive overview of the key aspects of Human Resource Management. It is also appropriate for any managerial and other professional staff who wish to have a quick introduction and applications of Human Resource Management.

Candidates are assessed through assignments and written examinations at the end of each module.

Face-to-Face Lesson

IHRP CPD Hours

On completion of the FCHRM programme, learners will earn 54 HR-related Training Hours/ CPD Hours (excluding Examination) that can be applied towards Application for or Renewal of IHRP certification.

Graduation and Degree

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structures will be awarded the Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management from SHRI Academy Pte Ltd.

Advancement

Matured FCHRM graduates are encouraged to enrol in the Certificate in Human Resource Management programme, thereby progressing to Diploma in HR Leadership with Business Partnering or Diploma in Organisational Psychology.

Academic Minimum Entry Requirement

  • 2 GCE ‘N’ level passes

  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered as case-by-case basis

  • 16 years old

Language Requirement

  • GCE ‘N’ level pass in English

  • An equivalent English language qualification

Length

  • The Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management is 3-months part-time programme that covers 54 training hours over.

Fundings available

  • Course participants may apply for SkillsFuture credit, SDF training grant* and UTAP funding. (Sign up for NTUC Membership here to apply for UTAP funding).

No. of intakes

  • You may choose to join any of the 6 intakes available per year for this programme.

Any Exemptions

  • Exemption is only applicable to active students who are deferring for future modules and have already passed the module before deferment so they don’t have to retake the same module. Exemptions are not applicable to new applicants.

Minimum Entry Requirement

  • You have to be at least 16 years old with a minimum of 2 GCE “N” Level passes or NITEC.
  • For matured candidates, you must be >30 years old with 8 years’ work experience.
  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Timing

  • Lessons are conducted twice a week, from 7pm to 10pm.

Advancement

  • Matured FCHRM graduates are encouraged to enrol in the Certificate in Human Resource Management programme, thereby progressing to Diploma in HR Leadership with Business Partnering or Diploma in Organisational Psychology.

Minimum attendance

  • The minimum attendance would be 75% for each module.

Fees

  • The overall course fee would be SGD1,744.00 after 9% GST. There will also be a one-time application fee of $163.50.

  • Candidates are assessed through assignments and written examinations at the end of each module.

Can I combine the funding support?

  • Unfortunately, different funding can’t be combined with our programme fees.
