Currently heading the SIM Learning Programmes Division. As Director of Learning Programmes, I’m responsible for the programme quality and sales of public programmes of the PD Entity, and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of quality executive programmes & forums/conferences.
The other portfolios covered in my 9 years with SIM include sourcing for new learning and development programmes catered to industry needs; trainers’ engagement; programme validation; promoting thought leadership in support of SIM’s long-term mission; as well as heading and managing the SIM Membership, SIM Library and the SIM Publications Unit.
Graduated from the Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia with an Honours degree in Sociology, I was also conferred a Distinction B.A. (Social Sciences) Course with a Triple Majors Degree in Human Resource Management, History and Sociology. I’ve been involved in research and tutorship at Curtin University and later, lecturing and facilitating of workshops in the areas of management and productivity with the then National Productivity Board (NPB) and Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI). My other work experiences in the human resource development and training fields were with Ernst & Young Consulting, Overseas Union Bank, Central Provident Fund Board and most recently, Sentosa Leisure Group where I spent 8 years in general operations management prior to my move to SIM.
