Profile of Trainer
Annie Tan has over 20 years of institutional knowledge in leadership, performance management and interviewing skills. She has held management roles at Standard Chartered, Fiserv and DBS Bank.
Fluent in English and Chinese, Annie had delivered programs in China, Taiwan, and India.
A Results Based Certified Coach with NeuroLeadership Institute, Annie coached individuals to help enhance their work, career and life skills.
Annie has trained managers and leaders in public service sector, financial institutions, information technology, sales & service, electronics and B2B sector on selecting the right people, conducting performance and career development conversations, coaching, managerial skills and individuals who looked towards to enhance their professional skills. She uses a blend of learning & development approaches including assessment tools, role plays and experiential activities which allow participants to learn and apply practical techniques to deal with workplace situations successfully.
In DBS, she spearheaded the set-up of the hotline where she built teams through attracting and hiring people supporting SME & Wealth business. Her passion in people development earned her a very successful role switch to Group HR, Learning & Talent Development team. As the Deputy to the Head of Leadership Institute, she designed and facilitated Leadership, Performance Management and Cultural Development related program curriculum for the bank across the region.
An accredited facilitator for DISC, Harrison Assessments, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator MBTI ™, Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation FIRO ™, Annie uses coaching and profiling tools for leadership and individual development, team off sites and self-awareness programs. She is ACTA certified with IAL and has knowledge in instructional design and development.
Annie embraces lifelong learning and is currently pursuing her Masters of Leadership in Organisational Learning with Monash University.
