“Currently, I work at Wise Oaks International School, where my primary responsibilities include guiding parents through school tours, the admission process, payments, and transport facilities. Additionally, I assist with onboarding new employees, arranging interviews, and maintaining ad hoc staff records. 

With a passion for understanding the intricacies of human behaviour and organisational dynamics, I was driven to enrol in the HR course to deepen my knowledge. My goal is to equip myself with the skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in the field of HR. The course offered valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and leadership, which are beneficial both personally and professionally. 

Adapting to the rigorous schedule while managing other commitments was a challenge. However, I learned effective time management and sought support from peers and mentors during demanding times. 

One of the most memorable aspects of the course was gaining a deeper understanding of HR principles and forming precious friendships with my course mates. My main takeaway is the importance of empathy in HR practices. Understanding the diverse needs and perspectives of individuals within an organisation is crucial for fostering a positive work culture and driving success. 

When I received the news of passing and being awarded the Gold Award for the Foundation Certificate in Human Resource, 33rd and 34th Intake, I felt a profound sense of accomplishment and validation. This experience reinforced my belief in continuous learning and growth.
