Course Overview

Coaching is a powerful and versatile approach used across sectors to support performance, growth, and leadership development. From corporate and education to healthcare, sports, and the non-profit sector, coaching provides structured guidance that strengthens capability, resilience, and effectiveness.

Within HR, coaching plays a critical role in developing employee capability, leadership readiness, and performance. It supports talent management, career development, conflict resolution, and alignment between individual and organisational goals. HR professionals also serve as key facilitators of coaching interventions for managers and leaders. By embedding coaching into organisational culture, HR fosters continuous learning, adaptability, and engagement, contributing to stronger leadership pipelines, higher retention, and overall organisational success.

SHRI Council Perspectives on the Value of Coaching
