How would you explain the HR profession to non-HR folks?
HR Leaders are part of the leadership team. They should participate in the business of the company and with focus on people and their performance.
What’s something about you that would surprise us?
That I have always been a Business Partner and less of a HR Leader especially in my later 20 years in my career.
What was the biggest highlight of your career?
- Looking after the largest Division in the company as the VP HR Asia less Japan.
- Looking after a Global Business in Asia as the HR Director
What advice would you give someone starting out in HR?
Be bold and look at the role and what is beyond.
What’s one thing you can keep talking about for hours?
Talent Management is an area which I spent much time on. If talent is weak, results will follow.
