CIPD qualified academic with Research, Teaching, HR and Management experience, lecturing at Edinburgh Napier University. My research interests are broadly focussed at the intersection between education policy and work and employment studies – and more specifically situated within the labour process theoretical perspective; examining school teachers’ working lives in relation to education reform.
Key themes of interest include: education reform, experiences of work, governance theory, labour process theory, performance management and public sector work.
