Managing and harnessing the talent and industry of employees have become the cornerstone to achieving an organisation’s business goals. This starts with understanding the rights and obligations of the organisation as well as the employees under Singapore’s legal framework. Whether it be dealing with individual contracts or as a group through the representation of trade unions, it is pivotal that managers, front line supervisors and HR professionals have a working knowledge of employment laws and guidelines governing the employer-employee relationship.
