Singapore, 25 August 2026 – The Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) today unveiled a refreshed positioning and visual identity, marking the next chapter in its more than six decades of advancing the HR profession. As the role of HR continues to evolve alongside changing workforce needs, SHRI is strengthening its community-centred approach to supporting HR professionals and organisations. By working more closely across its professional community, learning and enterprise capabilities, SHRI aims to provide more coherent and relevant support, helping HR professionals deepen their expertise, broaden their business capabilities and advance into leadership roles, while supporting organisations in building stronger and future-ready workforces.

Today’s HR professionals are expected to shape workforce strategy, advise business leaders, navigate technology and lead organisational transformation,” said Alvin Aloysius Goh, Chief Executive Officer of SHRI. “Whether they are deepening specialist expertise, broadening their business capabilities or stepping into leadership roles, SHRI is committed to supporting them throughout their professional journey.”

Beyond HR reflects SHRI’s belief that advancing the HR profession requires strengthening not only HR capability, but also the partnership between HR professionals, business leaders and line managers to build better workplaces together.

Beyond Singapore reflects SHRI’s commitment to supporting Singapore’s HR community as businesses increasingly expand across the region and globally. Through partnerships with regional and international organisations, SHRI will continue to bring global perspectives, professional networks and leading practices to help Singapore’s HR professionals thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

As Singapore’s sole representative in the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM) and the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA), SHRI connects Singapore’s HR community with the wider global profession while contributing Singapore’s perspectives to the advancement of people management practices and professional standards.

New Logo Mark
The refreshed visual identity reflects SHRI’s purpose and aspirations. At its centre is a new mark featuring a shield and lion. The shield represents SHRI’s enduring commitment to safeguarding the strength, integrity and professional standards of the HR profession. The lion reflects Singapore’s heritage and embodies the confidence to embrace new opportunities, carrying SHRI’s vision of Beyond HR · Beyond Singapore into its next chapter. Together, they represent an Institute firmly rooted in Singapore and the HR profession, while looking confidently towards the future.

The refreshed identity will be progressively introduced across SHRI’s programmes, platforms and communications from 26 August 2026.
