September 24, 2025
Singapore, 23 September 2025 – The Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) marked its 60th anniversary with the 18th Singapore HR Awards Ceremony this evening at Orchard Hotel Singapore, celebrating six decades of HR leadership, innovation and transformation.
The event was graced by Minister for Manpower, Dr Tan See Leng, and attended by over 450 HR and business leaders across industries. Reflecting the evolving role of HR in shaping the future of work, this year’s ceremony saw a record-breaking 100 nominations submitted by 61 unique organisations, the highest since the awards began.
With the theme “The Trailblazers: Beyond Borders”, the celebration honoured individuals and organisations that have gone beyond traditional HR boundaries to lead with purpose, build inclusive cultures and future-proof their workforces.
Singapore HR Award Winners
This year’s edition also marked a record year of participation, with organisations from diverse sectors recognised for outstanding people practices. Singapore Pools, DXC Technology, and Mediacorp emerged as the biggest winners, taking home multiple Gold and Silver awards across categories such as Talent Management, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and Workplace Culture.
Public agencies like the Public Service Division and Ministry of Defence, as well as SMEs such as Wee Guan Construction and Call Lade Enterprises, also stood out for their transformative approaches to workforce well-being and development. These wins reflect how organisations of all sizes are stepping up to champion inclusive, people-first HR strategies.
Three New Award Categories
Introduced For the first time, SHRI introduced three inaugural non-nominated awards, recognising individuals and organisations that have demonstrated exemplary leadership in workforce transformation and people-first strategies:
“This evening is not just about honouring our past, but about igniting the future of HR,” said Mr Alvin Aloysius Goh, Chief Executive Officer of SHRI. “In a workforce landscape marked by economic pressures, demographic shifts, and technological disruption, the role of HR has never been more vital, to both businesses and workers. HR must move from the sidelines to the centre of transformation, stepping up as business enablers, people champions, and societal stewards.”
The celebration also marked the unveiling of SHRI’s refreshed brand direction, symbolising its continued commitment to go beyond HR, beyond Singapore, and beyond 60, building bridges across borders, generations, and industries.
