Frank Koo is the Head of Asia at LinkedIn and is responsible for LinkedIn’s Talent and Learning business. Frank’s organisation supports companies in talent acquisition, development and retention through LinkedIn platform and solutions Prior to LinkedIn, Frank was the Chief Operating Officer of BE Education. He has also held leadership roles in Pearson Education where he was President of Learning Solutions in APAC, and Oracle where he was Managing Director for Singapore and South Asia Growth Economies.
Dr. Fermin Diez is the Deputy CEO and Group Director, Sector Capability and Transformation Group of NCSS. Having rich experience in Human Resources, he held consulting, corporate and academic roles in organisations worldwide. He sits on the Board and chairs the Assessment Committee of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) and on the PSD HR Talent Development Committee (TDC). He co-authored three books on Strategic Human Resources, Remuneration and HR Analytics and serves as adjunct faculty at Singapore Management University and Nanyang Technological University. Fermin is certified as an IHRP Master Professional (IHRP-MP)
Johnathon Ng is currently Vice President, Human Resources Asia Pacific for Brenntag. He is a seasoned Human Resources Executive who has travelled the road less travelled. In his journey to ignite his passion for human resources, he has experienced human resources in various industries, various countries, and varied headcount (start-ups to corporate) in both regional and global capacities across Asia Pacific. He has 20 years of practising the trade with multinational companies and large local enterprises such as Possehl Electronics, Givaudan, Bayer and Woh Hup. He is a professional ICF Coach and a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Aileen is responsible for Singtel Group’s overall strategic people and sustainability agenda. She co-chairs the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) HR Industry Transformation Advisory Panel. She is a member of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) Board, Singapore University of Social Sciences Board of Trustees, Health Sciences Authority Board, Institute for Adult Learning Council, Ministry of Finance’s VITAL’s Advisory Panel and MOM’s Workplace Safety & Health Council in Singapore. She is a pioneer IHRP Master Professional, for being a role model for the HR profession. Aileen received the Medal of Commendation at the NTUC May Day Awards and the Public Service Medal for her significant contributions to Singapore’s workforce and human resources sector.
Andrew How is the Singapore Market Leader at Kincentric where he focuses on client solutioning and development across Culture & Engagement, Leadership Assessment & Development and HR & Talent Advisory and is based out of Singapore. Prior to joining Kincentric in June 2020, Andrew was the Vice Chairman and Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry. He was the Managing Partner for Haygroup in Singapore prior to Korn Ferry’s acquisition of Haygroup in 2016. Andrew also manages the Haygroup Thailand and Vietnam office in his previous roles . Prior to Haygroup, Andrew held consulting roles in Towers Perrin Singapore and Price Waterhouse Malaysia. Andrew have been working with Senior regional business leaders, Local family conglomerate and growth orientated SME firms in Singapore and the region for the past 25 years. He has assessed and developed senior leaders for regional and global roles. Andrew has also lead assignments in the area of Organisational change, Compensation design Develop Performance scorecards, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Top Team intervention and transformation for Government and Family Owned Businesses.
Christophane Foo is Chief Human Capital Officer of Enterprise Singapore, overseeing the human capital development for Singapore enterprises as well as internal People and Culture development and global people operations across 23 countries where Enterprise Singapore’s offices are. Christophane also contributes to national level platforms looking into Jobs and Skills, Training and Development, and HR transformation, collaborating with multiple public and private agencies to enable talent development in tandem with enterprise development. Prior to her role in Enterprise Singapore, Christophane’s career spans the Hospitality, Technology and Healthcare sectors.
Daniel Callaghan is CEO of Veremark, a world-leading background and pre-employment screening platform for fast-growing businesses. With more than a decade in innovation around the Future of Work, Daniel is part of the founding team at the Workplace Accelerator and previously ran the digital innovation and investment unit across APAC for the world's largest recruitment company, Adecco Group. He also built and scaled globally one of the first professional services freelance marketplaces. He is an internationally published author on career development and has degrees from IESE Business School and Durham University.
Daniel Chia is a non-conventional HR practitioner having switched from a professional technical career to now a strong HR advocate for the past decade. Currently, the Head of Human Resources at Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd, he oversees the overall HR aspects for the organisation. Having worked at various MNCs, it allows him to understand the cultural differences between organisations and their values. As a strong believer in Coaching, mentoring, talent management and leadership; he aspires to make a difference and impact for others by unlocking their full potential.
D N Prasad is an Executive Coach (PCC, International Coach Federation) and a transformational HR Leader with expertise in leading scaled transformation, building and scaling Organisations & functions (in-country, region and global) and shaping & nurturing cultures and careers. Prasad was conferred as a Master Professional by the Institute of Human Resource Professionals (IHRP).
DNP, as he is known in the professional circles, is currently Senior Director for Strategy, People and Organisation with Government Technology Agency (GovTech), Singapore and is a Public Service Coach, with the Public Service Division. Prior, he founded Noetic step, an Executive Coaching and Talent Advisory practice, working with leaders and organisations, globally. In his last corporate stint, he served as Director and Head of Google People Services for APAC and as a Leadership Coach, at Google Inc.
Chee Tung is committed to bring the same level of analytics, sophistication, and scientific rigour to managing people as is currently applied to managing finance and customers. He is the CEO of EngageRocket, the fastest growing Asian people analytics tech company that helps businesses improve talent retention and productivity.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, he was Regional Director of Gallup in Southeast Asia. He read Economics at the University of Cambridge, and has an MA in Political Science from Columbia University under the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship (SAFOS).
Hwa Choo Lim is responsible for leading the company’s HR function in the region. She oversees the overall HR strategy and operations for various business and functional leaders in achieving their business outcomes by attracting, retaining and developing the best talents across Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.
Joining Equinix in 2018, Hwa Choo brings with her a wealth of HR and leadership experience at leading technology companies, including Cisco Systems, Avago Technologies, Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard. She was also listed as one of top HR professionals in HRD Magazine Hot List (Mar 2017).
She holds a Diploma in Human Resources Management as well as a bachelor’s degree of Business majoring in Human Resources from LaTrobe University, Australia. Hwa Choo also has a certificate in organizational coaching with IECL.

Philippa “Pip” Penfold is CEO of People Collider. Following a 20-year corporate HR career spanning Asia and well-known multinational corporations, today Pip educates HR professionals about new technologies (AI, RPA etc). She also provides expertise to emerging HR technology companies as a Mentor, and is a Business School Lecturer in Singapore, Australia and UK on Human Capital, Analytics, Technology and Ethics. A regular keynote speaker on the Future of Work at regional and global conferences, Pip engages at the forefront of the AI and Ethics debate. She holds an EMBA, MScHRM and senior HR professional credentials (GPHR, SHRM-SCP, FAHRI, FCIPD).
Shawn Tan is an experienced HR professional who has held regional HR and business leadership roles across hospitality, consulting, media and retail industries. Throughout his career, his strong understanding of how business works has helped him link HR initiatives with specific requirements. This encompasses functions across HR business partnering, change management, policy development, employee relations, industrial relations and talent management.
In his current role as HR Director for Under Armour SEA, Shawn oversees the people function and provides HR leadership in driving business growth. He is deeply passionate about aligning talent and leadership development with business strategies, concurrently transforming and optimising potential of both people and business.
Shawn holds a Bachelor of Business (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University and is certified as IHRP Senior Professional by the Institute for Human Resource Professionals. He also holds HSK Level 6 certification and often receives invitations to speak at universities in Singapore and China on HR related topics.
Pamela Lee is Director for HR Sector Development Department (Manpower Planning and Policy Division), and, Special Projects (Workplace Policy and Strategy Division) in the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore. She is responsible for developing policies and initiatives to strengthen the HR sector and professionals, so as to accelerate human capital development as well as enterprise transformation. The Special Projects team undertakes work that will shape the future policy and legislative environment for workplace fairness.
Mayank Parekh is the CEO of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP). IHRP’s mission is to professionalise and strengthen the HR practice in Singapore. Through a range of national human capital programmes such as the IHRP Certification, Human Capital Diagnostics Tool (HCDT) and IHRP Skills Badges, IHRP sets the HR standards of excellence, develops HR as a strategic enabler of business and workforce transformation and fosters a vibrant HR services eco-system to drive innovation and change. Mayank has over 30 years of experience in regional, global HR and general management roles in both the public and private sectors. He is passionate about unlocking the power of HR to impact lives and drive business outcomes.
Michael was born and spent his early years in Malaysia. He graduated from Durham University in Chinese followed by postgraduate studies in Japanese language, politics and economics at Nanzan University in Nagoya, after which he worked for Toyota Motor Corporation as an analyst. Returning to the UK in 1988, Michael worked at the University of Bath as Director of the Foreign Languages Centre. In 2001, he returned to Asia as Director of INSEAD Executive Education in Singapore and subsequently joined the CCL Asia Pacific as Managing Director. In 2009 Michael took on the role of CEO, Roffey Park Institute (UK). In July 2018 Michael joined the Human Capital Leadership Institute in Singapore and in 2020 set up his own company Expert Humans. The UK’s HR Magazine named Michael as one of the UK’s Most Influential Thinkers in HR in 2013 and 2016 and in 2020 Michael joined the UK-based FutureWork Forum as a Partner. Michael is a regular speaker, writer and moderator on humanising the workplace, new thinking in leadership development, the Future of Work and sustainability. He is the author of Expert Humans: Critical Leadership Skills for a Disrupted World which was recently published by Emerald Publishing.
Boon Chong is the Advisory Partner, Human Capital Solutions, Aon. His areas of expertise range from corporate governance and executive compensation, organization transformation and post-merger integration, to talent management; enterprise performance management and other major critical HR policies and practices. He has extensive consulting experience in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar as well as Greater China.
He spent three years with Aon Consulting starting up its human capital consulting business in Southeast Asia before the Aon Hewitt’s merger. Prior to Aon Consulting, he spent a long career with Hewitt as head of its Singapore consulting operations and Asia Pacific practice leader in Corporate Restructuring and Change.
Boon Chong graduated from the University of Minnesota and Rutgers University with a B.Sc. And M.Sc. respectively. He is accredited by the WorldatWork as a Certified Compensation Professional. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors as well as a graduate of the INSEAD International Directors Program.
Kannan Chettiar is an award-winning Global Leader with 25 years of experience in the Technology and Human Capital sectors spanning across Asia, EMEA & Americas. He is co-founder and Managing Director of Avvanz (www.Avvanz.com) – an award winning HRTech and FinTech company that prides in its 3 business pillars – Screen, Onboard and Develop. Kannan’s technopreneurship has earned him “Executive of the Year – Human Resources Technology” award which is an extremely prestigious Management Excellence award from Singapore Business Review.
Kannan has held management and leadership positions in First Advantage, Dell Computers, Future Electronics (Montreal, Canada), Arrow Electronics (NY-listed), Farnell Group (London-listed), IBM-backed e2open (Belmont, California) and i-Sprint Innovations (Acer-backed). Kannan’s other dimensions: Certified International Trainer, Technology Consultant to several companies especially in areas of Digital Transformation and Mentor for startups around the globe through startup platforms including Raise SG, Workplace Accelerator, Startup Buddy and Gratitude. He has also acted as Judge in platforms like MisFit. Kannan regularly delivers Thought Leadership talks, keynote speeches and Masterclasses in the region and constantly offers insights and perspectives in mainstream newspapers, trade publications and TV shows (Talk show, News, Documentary).
Joo Khim is a senior HR professional with extensive human resource management and development experience, spanning across a broad spectrum of portfolios, ranging from talent management, performance management, talent development, compensation and benefits to employee relations and welfare, manpower planning and innovation programs.
She has also held leadership roles in developing HR strategies, frameworks and systems, as well as in operational HR to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. She believes in inspiring others to find meaning and fulfilment in their work through a process of self-discovery and purposeful planning.
Stephanie Nash is the Co-creator of Thrive HR Exchange and Chief People Officer at ChapmanV. In this role, she provides strategic direction and advisory services across a broad portfolio of business interests and innovations in human resources. This includes ChapmanCG, a global HR executive search firm, the Thrive HR Exchange, an online community platform for HR professionals shaping the future of work and investments in HR technology start-ups. She has more than two decades’ experience as a human resources leader working across the United States, Asia, Australia and South America. During this time, she served in senior HR roles for Fortune 500 companies, including Allergan, Microsoft and BHP. Prior to joining ChapmanV, Stephanie held the role of Chief People Officer at RedMart, where she oversaw the growth of the Singapore-based technology and ecommerce platform through the sale to Lazada-Alibaba Group.
Chee Wei is the VP HR for South East & North East Asia in Shell, a region of 13,000 employees across 10 countries.
She joined Shell Singapore in 2001 and has held roles in HR business-partnering, Talent, Organisational Development and Change, supporting both the Upstream and Downstream businesses in Shell. Since 2012, Chee Wei has taken on regional and global strategic HR leadership roles across multiple Shell businesses, including Supply & Distribution, Products Trading, Lubricants Sales & Marketing, LNG, Gas & Power Trading and Shell Energy.
From August 2021, Chee Wei will assume the CHRO role for Shell’s Global Lubricants business in addition to her current VP HR role for the region.
Wong Keng Fye is Head, Human Capital, Singapore overseeing Maybank Singapore, Maybank Kim Eng and Etiqa Insurance. Keng Fye was also appointed as Business Human Capital Director for Group Wealth Management (GWM) in January 2019 under the new target operating model to build a successful regional wealth management franchise within Maybank Group. On 15 July 2020, Keng Fye was also appointed as Head, Human Capital MKE Singapore in addition to his role as Head, Human Capital Singapore and Business Human Capital Director for GWM.
Gonzalo Ruiz Calavera is the Asia-Pacific Regional Director of Recruiting at Google based out of Singapore. In this role he is responsible for supporting Google's ambitious growth plans in the region delivering the diverse top talent required for all Google's Product Areas and Functions at all levels of the organization. Prior to joining Google in April 2021, Gonzalo worked for almost 35 years at Siemens, a German multi-industry conglomerate with 380.000 employees operating in the fields of Industry Automation, Healthcare, Energy and Transportation. He was the Global Head of Talent Acquisition based out of Singapore. Gonzalo has spent the last 20 years living and working internationally in several locations in America, Europe and Asia.
Tery is a forward looking HR and OD professional with over 15 years of corporate experiences in the banking, fintech and maritime industry. As the Vice President for Human Capital Management at NETS and Principal of NETS Academy, he is responsible for engineering the organization’s culture transformation and cultivating its people development strategy. Prior to joining NETS, he set up Singapore’s first multipurpose port academy to address upskilling needs for the industry, and was instrumental in the inauguration of many award-winning talent programmes and academy for a bank. Tery also serves on the Business Management Industry Panel at Nanyang Polytechnic. Independently, he gives back to society as a pro-bono certified clinical hypnotherapist. Graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences from NUS, he served early years of his career as a combat officer with the Republic of Singapore Navy.
Ruel Dalangin is the Managing Director of IESE Southeast Asia Limited, the legal entity of IESE Business School in Singapore. He joined IESE in 2016 as Director of Corporate Relations and Executive Education for Southeast Asia. Prior to joining IESE, Ruel worked for Roche Diagnostics for more than 20 years in different roles and at different locations. While working in China, he took IESE’s Global Executive MBA which he completed in 2013. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines (Diliman) and a Ph. D. in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore.
