Course Overview

Everyone has a boss as well as peers. To be successful, one must be able to work effectively with any or most of them. The lifeblood of this process is influence. In all likelihood, to be successful at your job, you must be able to “sell” an idea or project, persuade coworkers or peers to provide support and/or resources, or get people to do something that they may not necessarily want or need to do. The core question is how?

In this one-day workshop, Influencing People Through Understanding Human Behaviour’s allows participants to tap into human fears and motivation. With the understanding of how human behaves in work context, it brings deeper insight on how to influence them. On top of this understanding, this workshop also provides practical handles and exercises on influencing using a practical influencing model.

About the Trainer

Fabian Lim

Fabian Lim is an experienced coach, facilitator and HR L&D practitioner for more than 16 years. He specialises in leadership & people development, coaching and strategic organisation development. His professional experience includes leading the Talent Management and Executive Leadership Development in The Body Shop, Hewlett Packard and CA Technologies. Fabian also oversaw the leadership & professional skills training delivery across the Asia-Pacific and Japan, the United Kingdom and the U.S. While at The Body Shop, he was the global leadership programme lead and helped to set up a retail academy in London.
