Organisational change is a constant for many, driven by a number of different forces including customers, markets and technology. Yet research shows that most change initiatives fail to get their intended outcomes and may even limit an organisation’s potential and its people. The effects of not managing change effectively can be devastating and long lasting, so it’s important that people professionals understand the issues and equip themselves with techniques to support change management initiatives.
This programme will help close the gap between theory and practice, enabling you to land transformational change with greater confidence.

Course delivery is based on CIPD’s award winning instructional design approach:
Engage: To develop interest by involving participants emotionally and intellectually
Study: To focus on information and why theory is important
Activate: To introduce activities and exercises to anchor the learning
Reflect: To stand back and view experiences from different perspectives.
Participants can expect an experiential learning journey that includes discussions and debates, case studies and scenarios, peer sharing and self-reflection. All designed to ensure you can apply the theories, concepts and tools you learn in to practice in the workplace.
Whether face to face or virtual, our instructor-led lessons incorporate interactive teaching and facilitation, sequencing the learning in bite-sized blocks to aid retention.
It’s clear that change is complex and whilst there isn’t a single solution to managing it, there are evidence-based techniques that will help you in enhancing the effectiveness of change programmes. Delivering Transformational Change will help equip you in moving towards ensuring a long term sustainability of a change.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Best suited for mid to senior level HR and Learning and Development professionals involved in managing people through organisational change and transformation.
Participants must achieve at least 75% attendance and must have passed the competency assessments to attain the Statement of Attainment and receive a joint certificate from CIPD and SHRI.

The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) encourages employers to invest in enterprise transformation and capabilities of their employees. Lau Wah Yuen
Wah Yuen is an experienced learning and organization professional with 30 years’ experience in both the corporate and consulting world. He has led regional corporate learning & development functions across different sectors including Healthcare, Hospitality, Engineering, Financial, Manufacturing, Information Technology and Construction. He also has a successful track record in driving a full range of learning & development initiatives; from analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of learning & coaching interventions.
He currently runs his own corporate training and executive coaching practice, specialising in areas including learning & development, organisational development and leadership skills. He is also one of CIPD’s Associates, well-versed in delivering both face-to-face and virtual learning courses to corporate clients in the Asia Pacific region.
In addition to helping corporate clients through the delivery of training courses, Wah Yuen is an experienced and qualified executive coach where he practices executive coaching interventions for leaders using evidence based coaching approaches.
