Executive, HR & Advisory
Established in 1965, the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) is a leading non-profit professional HR body that represents members, comprising individuals and organisations, across various industries. SHRI is seeking an independent self-starter to join our team and support the Executive Director in managing the human resource function as well as other key areas of work.About the Role:
The HR & Advisory Executive’s responsibilities include processing employee data, updating company policies and managing the payroll. The officer will also assist the Executive Director in coordinating with external parties and clients. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be willing to learn. A goal getter that is achievement-oriented.Other responsibilities include:
- Managing the HR function such as payroll and liason with external out-source vendors
- Assist in recruiting, training and management of personnel
- Assist in the development and integration of policies and processes
- Prepare reports and presentations for the Executive Director
- Assist the Executive Director in various external programs and projects
- Conduct research through various methods (data collection, surveys etc.)
- Prepare business proposals and act as a liaison officer for external partners and clients
Requirements:
- 2 years’ work experiences as a HR officer, HR analyst or associate consultant
- Familiarity with broad base Human Resources function
- Basic knowledge of local labor legislation
- Experience using MS office
- Good Organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong learning agility with demonstrated experience of being a self-starter, team player
Executive, Membership Services & Engagement
Established in 1965, the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) is a leading non-profit professional HR body that represents members, comprising individuals and organisations, across various industries. SHRI is seeking an independent, dynamic self-starter to join our team as a Membership Services and Engagement Executive.About the Role:
The Membership Services and Engagement Executive will be responsible for growing and servicing our membership database and provide value-added membership services.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Acting as the first point of contact for our members (corporate and individuals) and responding to any queries relating to our membership
- Ensure accurate processing of membership applications for new and renewal of membership
- Provide excellent customer service to members and to other members of the public
- Help to drive and provide support for membership engagement activities
- Brainstorm new ideas and membership initiatives to develop the membership value proposition and provide a consistently high level of quality membership experience to members
- Assist in planning, co-ordinating and organising members’ events and activities, where applicable
- Update and maintain membership database and relevant information
- Provide timely response to all membership correspondence and enquiries
- Any other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma holder in any discipline 2 years’ work experience as a Marketing/ Membership/ Engagement/ Customer Service Executive
- Experience using MS office
- Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong learning agility with demonstrated experience of being a self-starter, team player
Programme Executive
Established in 1965, the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) is a leading non-profit professional HR body that represents members, comprising individuals and organisations, across various industries. SHRI is seeking an independent, outgoing and meticulous individual with an interest in developing a career in student administration.Key Responsibilities:
- Answering student enquiries and following up on student leads
- Management of the faculty and the programmes under his/her charge
- Responsible for student recruitment under his/her care
- Coordination with external partners to effectively deliver programmes
- Pre- and post- stages of Start of course (SOC) for each study term, including course planning, and class scheduling
- Administration and operational matters during the study term
- Planning and scheduling classes, managing relationships with lecturers
- Preparation of examination papers, liaising with invigilators, processing and release of results
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with certification bodies
- Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma with 2 years’ work experience, preferably in the Private Education Industry (but not essential)
- Self-motivated, versatile, resourceful, meticulous and result-oriented
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with an eye for detail
- IT savvy with good Microsoft Office skills
- Persuasive and excellent communicator with the ability to work in a team
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday from 8.30AM to 6.30PM and Friday from 8.30AM to 5.30PM
