Betul’s journey with The Adecco Group dates back to 2003 when she joined as a branch manager with Adecco Turkey. Throughout her 13 years with Adecco, Betul’s roles included branch manager, area manager, sales and marketing director, operations director and managing director for permanent placement. In her last role, she was in-charge of country operations and leading a solid team that carried Adecco Turkey to market leader. Through the commitment and detail-oriented attitude she projected in each of the respective roles, Betul proved her professionalism and competencies as a business leader.
Betul rejoined The Adecco Group as country manager for Singapore in 2020. She leads a leadership team and is directly responsible for country operations, that work towards reinventing workforce solutions for a resilient economy, as well as create a talent platform to address the ever-changing landscape of skills shortage and transformation. She is an advocate of diversity and inclusion. Her leadership team comprises of almost an even spilt of genders, consisting of multiple cultures and nationalities.
She has a demonstrated history of working as a senior leader in the HR and talent solutions, as well as commercial real estate industries. Her main interests and skills are in human resources, talent management, I-I Q consulting and performance management.

Jia Yong is a Partner in EY’s People Advisory Services, with focus on supporting governments and organizations on their Organization & Workforce Transformation and Change Management needs.
In the area of Job Redesign (JR), EY has worked with various agencies, such as WSG, EDB, ESG, SBF and SNEF, to drive job redesign efforts for various sectors, such as the PSG-JR, HR Technology Transformation Programme ,Accountancy Job Redesign Initiative, and Industry 4.0 Human Capital Initiative. EY has also supported multiple companies across various industries on their Job Redesign and Workforce Transformation efforts.

Patrick Kwok is the general manager of Starbucks Coffee Singapore since 2017 Oct and is responsible for overseeing all facets of Starbucks business in Singapore across 150 stores.
Prior to this role, he was the head of operations and store development at Starbucks Hong Kong & Macau where he was responsible for strategic management, operations, store development, new market development and acquisition which included Cambodia and Singapore.
Patrick is an accounting professional and is the member of CPA Australia and The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He acted as the Director of Accounting and Finance for McDonald’s Hong Kong and was the Divisional Councillor Greater China at CPA Australia. He attained an MBA from the University of Adelaide. He was also a part-time lecturer for the joint HKUSPACE/Curtin University’s bachelor of accounting degree program for 10 years.
In his breakout segment, Patrick will be sharing on Starbucks Singapore’s push towards a digital and future ready workforce, as well as insights on recruitment and employee engagement through technology and the focus on a strong internal talent pipeline.
