Press Release: SHRI announces appointment of Ms Low Peck Kem as President of APFHRM for 2023 – 2025

Singapore, July 1, 2023 – The Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) is proud to announce the appointment of its former President and esteemed council member, Ms. Low Peck Kem, as the President of the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM). Her tenure will commence from July 1, 2023, and extend for a term of two years.

With this prestigious appointment, Ms. Low will also be appointed as a board member of the World HR Federation. This noteworthy achievement marks a significant milestone in her illustrious career and sets a path for continued success in the global Human Resource (HR) landscape.

The APFHRM comprises 17 member countries from the Asia Pacific region, making it a powerful conglomerate of HR professionals and practitioners, committed to propelling the HR industry forward. As a respected leader in this network, Ms. Low’s leadership will undoubtedly enhance and further solidify the influence and standing of the Federation.

To help facilitate APFHRM’s mission, SHRI has unveiled its strategic plan focusing on six key pillars which aim to enrich the HR landscape both regionally and globally:
